The Aircare Nail Station was originally developed with Purex, and initially marketed under their brand name.  When Purex decided to withdraw from the beauty market, Aircare was asked if it would take on the manufacture and marketing of the nail work station as it had been involved in the development of the table's unique air filtration system.  Aircare Europe said yes.

Since then, Aircare Europe has extended the number of colours and styles of the table.  Different sizes have been added to the range, along with options for storage, a double workstation, and re-configuration so that the tables can be built for left-handed people as well as right-handed.

The 4-way filtration system remains unique to the Aircare table.
